Pre-race and Practice:
-
1. Practice will start 1 hour before qualifying begins.
- 2.
While not required, all drivers are encouraged to participate in practice
as much as possible.
- 3.
All drivers are expected to behave in a professional manner at all times.
- 4.
All drivers are expected to signal when entering and exiting pit road.
Qualifying:
- 1.
Please, no TS chatter while qualifying is in progress.
- 2.
You may still join the race if you are unable to qualify.
Race:
Start of the Race and Pacing
-
1. It is each driver's responsibility to maintain a safe distance between
yourself and all other cars around you.
- 2.
Do not lag back, keep the pacing line tight. (aproximately .2 - .4 while pacing
and .1 - .2 when going green)
- 3.
The driver on the pole will lead the field and must start on green.
-
4. We will allow ONE restart if there is a caution before the first lap is
complete.
- 5.
Jump starting is not allowed and will be cause for a drive through pit lane
penalty. Jump starting is defined
as intentionally creating a situation through such methods as lagging back
or brake checking that allows a
driver to maintain a large advantage in overtaking speed over the car in front
as they cross the start finish
line. If a car is slow at the start finish line due to a missed shift or simply
not getting on the gas soon
enough, it will not be ruled a jump start if other cars have to pass before
or just after the start finish line.
6. If the game assigns you a black flag we will not take it away.
- 7.
NO PASSING ON THE {INSIDE} INTERING INTO TURN # 1 ON RESTARTS...UNTIL 10 TO
GO
- 8.
ON A RESTART INSIDE 10 TO GO NO DRIVER CAN PASS BEFORE THE START / FINISH
LINE YOU MUST STAY SINGLE FILE.
Green Flag Conditions
-
1. Passing is allowed after the start/finish line on starts and restarts.
-
2. Dive passing is not allowed. A driver cannot initiate a pass on a car after
the car in front has begun his
entrance into the turn. The driver of the car behind must have position under
the car in front well before
the turn entrance. If this is not the case, the car behind must yield to the
car in front and not attempt to
gain position until after both cars have safely entered the turn.
-
3. It is the responsibility of the driver behind to execute a clean, safe
pass. If you aren't 100% certain this
can be accomplished it is your responsibility to lift, and wait for a better
opportunity to complete your pass.
- 4.
If at any time you should see a car in front of you get in trouble, your first
response should be to back off
and not to view this situation as one ripe for passing.
-
5. Keep your eye out for race chat pertaining to cars near you such as pit
signals, and signs asking you to pass.
- 6.
Blocking is not allowed until the last 5 laps of a race.
- 7.
Blocking is defined as a driver aggressively changing his racing line in order
to
block the momentum of an overtaking car. If a car has position under another
car, the car being passed cannot
alter his line in order to break the momentum of the passing car. A driver
may not alter his racing line in
any way with the intention of using his car as an obstacle for a car behind.
In other words, hold your line!!
- 8.
You are expected to drive the preffered line.
Pitting
- 1.
Each driver is responsible for signaling before entering the pits. This should
be done while driving on the
backstretch. You're required to signal under green flag conditions.
-
2. Do NOT signal pit entry or exit while under caution. The Officials need
the chat line clear.
-
3. Make certain you enter the pits safely. If not, the sim has provisions
for taking care of you via the black flag.
- 4.
Do not drive through other driver's pit stalls. That is why your pit crew
has a sign hanging out, so you will know where to enter.
- 5.
When entering the pits, maintain your line on the outside of the two lines
to the right of pit road.
(The one furthest from the pits.)
-
6. When exiting the pits, maintain your line on the outside of the two lines
to the right of pit road.
(The one furthest from the pits.)
-
7. You must stay inside the yellow line when exiting the pits. Your crew chief
will inform you when it
is okay to merge into traffic. Please note he says "merge when you can"
which doesn't mean
dive directly into heavy traffic!
Yellow flag Conditions
-
1. When taking the yellow flag, all drivers are expected to lift off the gas
and coast until the
backstretch. At that time you may slow down and wait for the pace car.
- 2.
All drivers are expected to stay in line at all times during caution and to
maintain a
0.2 - 0.4 second gap between all cars.
-
3. There is absolutely no excuse for crashing into another car while under
caution. If you cause a
collision during a caution lap, the officials will issue a severe penalty.
-
4. Upon restarting, passing is allowed after the s/f line.
-
5. If there is a caution with 10 laps or less remaining in the race, all cars
1 or more laps down are expected to pass-through the pits to allow those on
the lead lap to race each other for the win. The pass-through should be done
prior to the "one-to-go" signal to restart the race. If you are
at the tail end of the lead lap it is your discretion whether to pass-through
the pits or not and gives you a chance to get back on the lead lap if there
is another caution. Do not hold up the lead lap cars if they are faster then
you after the restart.
- 6. If
there is a caution with 10 laps or less remaining in the race we WILL race
back to the caution.
- 7.
The Lucky Dog rule is in effect. The first driver that is one lap down or
more, that did not cause the yellow flag or was in the wreck will be the Lucky
Dog.
- 8.
The Lucky Dog needs to pit along with all other lapped drivers but needs to
be the last one out of the pits.
- 9.
If other drivers continue to pit during the caution, the Lucky Dog needs to
pit along with them and continue to be at the end of the longest line. This
should continue until the "One-to-Go" signal is given. You will
receive one lap back after the green flag is waved.
- 10.
Lucky Dog rule is NOT in effect with 10 laps to go.
- 11.
You are allowed 3 self spins resulting in cautions, after the third self spin
you must park it for the night.
- 12.
If you should self spin and the race continues under green, you are expected
to yield to other drivers until your vehicle is back up to speed. There is
no penalty.
Post Race:
-
1. All drivers are expected to drive onto pit road, find their respective
pit stall, and park there
after the race is complete.
-
2. Leader can perform post race celebration at the s/f line!
- 3.
All drivers should export a copy of the results just in case there is a problem
that needs to be reviewed.
Provisionals:
-
1. Provisionals will be given to drivers who don't show up for a race.
-
2. Provisionals will be equal to finishing in last place. If 10 drivers are
present then the provisional will be 11th place.
Post Race Incident Points:
The types of Incidents are as follows:

an official has
mistakenly called your car number for an incident you were no where near, do
not comment at all.

The procedure for making a protest is simply by sending a PM in the forum to
any of the league admin.
Include the lap number, the cars involved, and a detailed description of what
you are protesting. There are no penalties for filing a complaint. If there
is a problem with one of the Admin Staff then simply contact a different one
if you wish.
The LATEST a protest can be made is up until 48 hours after the Incident list
is published.
The EARLIEST a protest will be accepted is 12 hours after the race is completed.
There is a mandatory
cooling off period for 12 hours following any race. Any email received requesting
a protest before
then will be sent back to the driver unread and ignored.

at all times.
